Shamna Kasim, better known by her stage name Poorna, is a celebrated South Indian actress and trained dancer who predominantly works in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. She began her film career in 2004 and has appeared in notable films such as Manju Poloru Penkutty, Sri Mahalakshmi, Aadu Puli, Kandhakottai, Adanga Maru, Kaappaan, Thalaivi, and Akhanda.
Poorna has also ventured into web series, starring in the Tamil horror-thriller Kannamoochi (2020) on ZEE5, where she played the lead role and impressed audiences with her strong performance.
