To derive the best benefits out of an onion, it should be used in a raw form as heating destroys beneficial phytonutrients present in them. So, add raw onions to your daily diet and beauty regime. Also, always do a small patch test of onion juice on your skin before applying it all over. This would help you to make sure that you are not allergic to onion juice.

Dull and gloomy skin:

Fresh onions can keep your skin radiant, soft, and supple because of the antioxidants, vitamins and sulphur in them. You can apply onion juice or a small onion piece on your face to get a naturally radiant skin. Consumption of raw onion purifies our blood by eliminating impurities, this gives you a healthy and glowing skin

Ageing skin:

Onion juice is also good to control dandruff problems of your hair. Just apply onion juice on your scalp and keep it on for at least half an hour. After that, shampoo your hair. You can also mix onion juice with dried lemon peels and a scoop of yoghurt to make a paste to curb dandruff.

Onion can also help to make your lips lustrous and radiant. Mix onion juice with vitamin E oil and apply this on your lips before going to bed. Do this for at least a month to get healthy, pink and kissable lips!

Consuming onions can naturally improve eyesight because of the presence of vitamin A, C and E, which are essential for eyes. Along with these vitamins, onion is also rich in sulphur which prevents formation of cataract, thus preventing our eyes from harm.
